Its apparently more environmentally friendly than natural gas. Interesting, again most of the things made for camping are more environmentally friendly and ideally better suited for the home or apartment as well.

Of course the Asian nations are way ahead. They use propane stoves continually in Turkey and through the middle east to make tea.
